Paisley’s recent trial at the Children’s Recovery Center has proven to be just that. Unfortunately, a viral infection derailed the attempt to keep Paisley out of the Intensive Care Unit. She was transferred in the early morning late last week to Good Samaritan in Campbell due to respiratory distress. This recent infection has brought up the difficult and sobering question of where exactly home is for our little miracle. The infection she currently has is minor in reputation but could prove to be too much for Paisley’s vulnerable body. We have maxed the available ventilation and pain management, and most of the medical indicators signal Paisley is getting worse. Our hope and wish has always been to take our little angel home with us. We have accepted many scenarios and difficulties that would come with this. We have fought and always will fight to take Paisley home. No sacrifice, burden, fear or doubts would ever be a barrier. However, we are not and have never been in control of Paisley’s life. We trust that God will show us his will through Paisley, and we trust that she knows how much we love her. Please pray for her strength and peace, for her medical team, and for our ability to submit to Gods will and purpose for Paisley. She has already changed our lives and the lives of many in her short time with us. We are thankful for the amazing gifts that Paisley has given us. “Her life has been the miracle. She has already touched more lives in her short life than i can hope to in mine”
